Affiliation Disclosure - eBooks and Audiobooks

eBookorium has an affiliation with Kobo Australia for our ebooks. eBookorium provides links to Rakuten kobo ebooks, where our book buyers will make their purchase. 

eBookorium is currently working with other suppliers to acquire and sell ebooks and audiobooks outright on eBookorium.com.  We are excited about this and are working hard to finalise these changes. 

Shipping Policy - Physical Books

After you complete your online order, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. Your order is packaged and shipped the same day of purchase. eBookorium currently uses Australia Post, Sendle and, Pack and Send. Delivery is approximately 3-5 business days within Australia. Domestic shipping, where charged, is $10 and, $8.95 for small paperbacks.  For International shipping, eBookorium uses FedEx and NZ Mail. Please allow extra time for International shipment. Overseas delivery charges depend on the destination and the quantity of books 

Recyclable materials - We only use recyclable materials in all our packaging - cardboard boxing, honeycomb paper protective packing and, organic inks. 

Backorders - Where you request a book/s that is on backorder you will be notified via email, of the approximate arrival time of the book/s to our store and then to you. If you wish to check on delivery time of any backorders please email jo@ebookorium.com

Remaindered books -  Sometimes a publisher remainders a book to clear out inventory space. Remaindered books are new books which are sold at a lower cost than the recommended retail price. Remainder books will have a discreet dot or stripe across the top or bottom of the book on the outside of the pages. eBookorium occasionally purchases remaindered books where a title is elsewhere unattainable. Where a remaindered book is for sale, it will be noted in the description. 

Returns and Refunds Policy - Physical Books

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept returns if you notify us via email within one (1) day of receipt of your book. To be eligible for a return, your book must be returned within five (5) days of your initial notification to us. The book must be in the exact same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging in which you received it.

To initiate a return, please contact our Brilliant Book Buyers Services at jo@ebookorium.com with your order number or title and reason for return. We will provide you with a return authorisation number and instructions on how to proceed with the return.

Please note that we do not cover the cost of return shipping. Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

General Disclosure

In accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles guidelines, an organisation or agency can use or disclose personal contact information for the reason they collected it (the primary purpose), including for direct marketing activities. eBookorium will not use or disclose personal contact information for another reason (a secondary purpose).

Because you give eBookorium your contact details to receive our Newsletter, it is important we disclose the following information:

• We will only collect those contact details you have given approval in writing to us, to send you our Newsletter.
• We do not disclose these details to any other party; they are for the sole purpose of providing our Newsletter to you. You can, at any time, inform us that you no longer wish to receive the Newsletter. To unsubscribe is a simple, one-step action. Look for the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the Newsletter. Once you have clicked on the link to unsubscribe, you will then receive notification of your subscription cancellation.
• Should you not wish to provide your contact details for our Newsletter, we will not be able to provide the Newsletter to you.

Independent Author Book Marketing

Definitions

Independent author -  An author of fiction, nonfiction, or poetry books who self-publishes their own work and retains and controls their own publishing rights. You might or might not have an Agent.

ISBN -   The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a unique identifier for books. An ISBN is not mandatory, and does not provide copyright on a work. It is used internationally across the book trade and library sector. 

Marketing as referred to herein - Where eBookorium will provide a platform - the Products pages, the BBB Club and, BBB Review pages - to promote and sell your book. We will accept your own book description, or will draft one for you (a small fee applies, see Prices below).

Platform - Our website, known as http://www.eBookorium.com

General

Your book must be published to a professional, commercial standard, using quality graphics, images, layouts, fonts and, materials. Your book should reflect the standard set by commercially published paperbacks and hardcovers. 

An ISBN is not mandatory for any book to have, but eBookorium will choose a book that has an ISBN over one that does not. An ISBN provides for inventory control and search data.

If you have an Agent, we will work within any instructions, confines or standards, as clearly provided to eBookorium by your Agent, that is/are relevant to us providing a platform in which to market and sell your book. 

Sales - You will receive 100% of the full price for each book sold (excluding shipping). This will be paid to you via Bank Transfer immediately following the sale. 

Discount - You, and only you, will decide if your book price is to be discounted. You will contact eBookorium at jo@ebookorium.com to notify us of your notice to discount your book/s. We, eBookorium, would expect a notification to be received no earlier than three (3) months following the initial listing of your book to sell on www.eBookorium.com. 

Prices

Listing your book - $100 (This covers cost for uploading and publishing your book to our Product page and, Feature listing for one (1) month on our home page)

Writing your book description (if required) - $40 (This covers drafting, formatting and publishing your book's description to your book's Product page on www.eBookorium.com).

Packing - $20 (This covers the cost of packaging and preparing shipping when your book sells).

Storage - $100 (This covers the cost of storage if you require us to hold stock of your book of more than twenty (20) copies).

Social Media Marketing - as per cost (This covers marketing on social media platforms and is dependent upon timeframes as agreed between you and eBookorium.

BBB Club and BBB Review pages Marketing - $20 (This covers marketing for one (1) month, per page, on one or both of these pages).
